When Shakespeare wrote about midsummer he said, “Lord, what fools these mortals be!”

I thought this quote was cool because of how stupid we can react to things that happen to us in this life we don’t understand. Also how we choose to respond with love. Lastly and most importantly how we act when we are celebrating and partying. Midsummer originally derived from celebrating St. John’s the baptist day.  Over time these celebrations started happening all over the world. Right now Sweden is one the countries where Midsummer is the most popular.

Although I LOVE the nightlife, I love being active and out in the sunlight. I have come to like day partying just as much as the night. Of course it is not just about the day party but running my favorite beach trails, taking hikes, spending time with friends and exploring the world in the daylight is the way I like to do it.

The origin of the song “Nothing But” comes from my gratefulness for my dope partnership with I AM. Who is I AM? I AM is the name that GOD gave himself. In Hebrew it looks like this YHVH! “God said to Moses, I AM WHO I AM. This is what you are to say…… ‘I AM has sent me to you” (Exodus 3:14) It is a celebratory track. It is my breakthrough track by giving I AM all the credit for every good and bad experience up to this point in my life, even the most painful ones. You know for example how most basketball players in the NBA or Grammy Winning Artist start their speeches, “I just want to thank God for……” This song is my way of doing the same thing.

This new genre of music I call Electronic Gospel Music, or #EGM, is my way/vehicle of sharing my experiences with I AM through electronic dance, future house, trap and progressive  & deep house music to be specific. Everything I play (DJ) or produce will not be EGM so give me some room to breath and don’t place me or my music in a box

Why Midsommer?

After researching the origins of Midsummer I knew this was the perfect day for my first launch. Midsummer Celebration is the longest day of the year. Shakespeare even wrote a comedy play called “A midsummer nights dream”,  (Midsommer on Wikipedia). Why not celebrate my favorite day of the year with this news of new music. We’re sharing this music and news in the hopes you will choose to support our release centered around Midsummer, the period of time centered upon the summer solstice, and more specifically the northern European celebrations that accompany the actual solstice.

So celebrate with me by purchasing the track. If you like it or can respect it for what it is please share it on your social and tell a few friends. I would really like to make a solid impact as I consciously and purposefully embark on doing the impossible. Tag me at @IAMNOEL.media and/or use the hashtags #IAMNOEL #NothingBut #Midsommer and whatever else will bring light and exposure to my project.
